Spoonfed - The smart, definitive guide to things to do in London

We want to be the best, characterized by the best content: I mean local content, easily and quickly with terrific editorial to go with it,
and the technology to match. That technology ranges from a highly effective search-engine happy to go
to work with 'theatre', 'Brixton', 'drum n bass' or simply the word 'free', Google Mapping, plus soon-to-be-released mobile
phone apps, with both GPS and non-GPS enabled versions.

Words of wisdom and a hand to guide and hold

Alexander Will and Henry Erskine Crum
managed to persuade their mentor to become the chairman of their fledgling
events listing website, Spoonfed. The pair were still completing their
studies at the London School of Economics when they were introduced
by a friend to Kevin Eyres, European managing director of LinkedIn,
the global social networking website.

Spoonfed
The smart, definitive guide to what's on in London
Spoonfed officially launched on November 20, 2008 but has been in development since Henry Erskine Crum and Alexander Will first met in an abstract maths class at the London School of Economics in 2004. At university they tried to take advantage of London entertainment but poor event listings inspired them to create a solution that could truly connect individuals with great events.
With the support of the university they took a year off, set up an office in a basement and cooked for early Spoonfed volunteers. The next steps for founders Henry and Alex were building an editorial team of knowledgeable Londoners, designing the Spoonfed website, and yes, even finding the time to return to LSE and graduate from university in 2007.
Since then, Spoonfed has progressed through alpha and beta development stages, fine-tuned the technology, built the Spoonfed community and made it easier than ever to find out what's on in London. Our office, no longer located in a basement, is now in Old Street, London and home to the growing creative and energetic members of the Spoonfed team.
Throughout the journey the founders have been mentored by Kevin Eyres who became Chairman of Spoonfed in July, 2007.
