Although no spring chicken, Crispin Flintoff is a relative newcomer to the stand-up circuit. Having started in 2005, his skills were quickly recognised when he reached the semi-finals of the 'Laughing Horse New Act Of The Year' awards in 2006 and 2007 and was a runner up in the prestigious 'Hackney Empire New Act' awards in 2007.
For someone fairly new to the scene, he is a consummate professional and handles hecklers or difficult crowds with the ease of someone who's been in the business for over a decade. His material can be quite quirky and original - clearly a fan of Reggae music, he often claims to have 'Ragamuffin's Disease' – an obsession with reggae music from 1987-1994 and finishes his set with an impressive Musical Youth rework about eating your 5-a-day veg.
