Beginning on the comedy circuit in 1991, Ian Stone first rose to prominence when he was deemed "unsuitable for publication" by Edinburgh festival organisers for his first Fringe show, A little piece of Kike. Born into an average Jewish family, despite family pressures for a more serious career path, humour was in the blood and inevitably he is now one of the most respected comedians in Britain.
With multiple TV and radio credits to his name such as BBC 1's The Stand-up Show and his own radio chat show The Big Schmooze, Stone has been ranked amongst the top ten stand-up comedians in Britain by The Independent. He regularly appears in The Comedy Store's political comedy show The Cutting Edge, as well as hosting the It's Up for Grabs Now podcast about Arsenal football club.
Performing worldwide, he is one of a few Jewish comedians to have performed in Germany in the last 50 years and his self-mocking Jewish humour mixed with provocative material allows a wonderful bantering between his audience and him.
