Imran Yusuf
Bristling with energy and spouting forth rapid-fire slang dialogue almost akin to rap when he performs, Imran Yusuf is a unique comedic voice in the UK.
Born in Kenya, raised in the UK and US and having travelled everywhere from Israel to Saudi Arabia, Yusuf encompasses a mishmash of cultural influences. A relative newcomer to the circuit, he's no doubt made a fair splash on the comedy scene so far, getting to the finals of the Laughing Horse and Hackney Empire new act competitions and performing in Amused Moose comedy club's Hot Starlets showcase.
Yusuf's style is far more slapstick-based than most comedians on the circuit these days, his energy often propelling him around the stage to physically illustrate his gags. Mixing this unique approach with a London street slang-style verbal delivery, the young up and comer is quite a sight to behold.
