Socialist stand-up Jeremy Hardy is renowned on the comedy circuit for his sharp and acerbic views on the nature of politics.
Winning the Perrier Award in 1988, he has written a column for the Guardian and appeared on Blackadder, although he is probably most well-known for his radio work particularly with BBC4's The News Quiz where he regularly commented on the goings on in Streatham and the misdemeanours of local MPs.
