Musical comedy duo Jollie, aka John Biddle and Ollie Birch, have an intriguing dynamic on stage, mainly due to an awkward situation with a mutual girlfriend.
The two, who both previously led the Durham Revue as students, are in the somewhat strange situation of John now being involved with Ollie's ex, and yes, there was overlap between the two relationships. This forms the basis of the two's delightfully dysfunctional musical partnership, which apart from their shared history also takes a stab at everything from fractured fairytales to Vikings.
Jollie's style incorporates aspects of theatre, surreal comedy and farce. Tipped as ones to watch for the last couple of years at Edinburgh, they'll no doubt be hitting a fringe theatre venue near you soon.
