Starting his stand-up career at just 17 and reaching the finals of Edinburgh's So You Think You're Funny new act competition the year after, Glaswegian Kevin Bridges has come a long way in a fairly short while.
His solo show at 2009's Edinburgh Fringe won him an Eddie nomination for best newcomer, while he picked up the award for Best Breakthrough Act at 2010's Chortle Awards. He also appeared on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow.
Bridges' style is a combination of social commentary, one-liners and observational stand-up, delivered with a skill for comic timing well beyond his years.
