Lee Mack

For budding comedians, Lee Mack is their benchmark. His intelligent, original observations matched with effortless and hilarious interaction with his audiences, makes Mack an unbeatable act.

Mack's first break was winning the So You Think You're Funny? competition at the 1995 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and has since starred on TV with the award-winning BBC1 show Not Going Out with Tim Vine and Would I Lie To You? where he was a resident team captain. On radio he starred as the security guard in the original Mighty Boosh and had his own Lee Mack Show with different celebrity co-hosts each week.

In 2005 Lee won the Best Stand-Up award at the Loaded LAFTAS. He has also previously received a nomination for the Perrier Award, and won a Time Out Best Live Comedy Award. During the same year he also presented the last series of infamous comedy sports show They Think It's All Over after Nick Hancock and went on to do a sell-out national tour in 2006.

He is an energetic performer and whips through his jokes, many of them one-liners, at just the right level of rudeness for you to wish you'd brought your mum along. His material is always original and witty and his cheerful attitude and natural ease on stage make him hard not to like.
