Nina Conti
Gorgeous female ventriloquist Nina Conti and her sidekick 'Monkey' were catapulted into the comedy limelight in 2002, after winning the BBC New Comedy Awards. Since then she and her Monkey puppet have gained notoriety on the comedy circuit and performed to packed audiences across the UK.
What really impresses aside from her funny dialogue with the foul-mouthed monkey is her deconstruction of the ventriloquism process, analysing the schizophrenia of her act.
As well as performing on the stand up and variety circuit, Conti has also appeared on numerous TV shows and films from Black Books to the acclaimed Christopher Guest film: For Your Consideration.
