Rich Hall

Rich Hall is well-known in the US for writing and appearing on the David Letterman Show which earned him an Emmy award. In the UK, he has also made quite a splash appearing on Have I Got News For You, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Jack Dee's Sunday Service and Edinburgh Nights.

He won a Perrier Award in 2000 for his performance as Otis Lee Crenshaw, a redneck singer from Tennessee who sings songs about jail and women mostly. Crenshaw has been a huge success for Hall and he plays him regularly at the Fringe, at festivals and on tour round the world.

His stand-up act is equally strong and leans mostly on politics. His delivery style is fast and furious, building momentum as the bilious rants increase.
