Ronnie Golden is a British singer, guitarist and comedian. He was the founder of the band The Fabulous Poodles. After the group broke up he worked as a stand up comedian as a member of The Comic Strip and is the only original member still actively performing stand-up on the circuit today He now fronts an R&B and soul group, Ronnie and the Rex who still perform their Club Senseless nights at the King's Head in Crouch End. Ronnie also writes songs and sketches for BBC Radio 4 from time to time.
He is at his best when interspersing music and vocals with audience banter; at his worst when doing solo stand-up, which has recently involved mostly crude puns and out of date jokes.
