Russell Brand

This long-haired lothario can't have escaped your attention. The host of a number of television shows including Russell Brand's Ponderland, the MTV Video Music Awards and Big Brother's Big Mouth, he's also released a best-selling book, My Booky Wook, and been the centre of attention throughout a number of news stories, including those surrounding his incessant sexual exploits and the infamous 'Sachsgate' scandal.  

Known for his flamboyant dress and behaviour, Brand has now become a central figure in the public eye. He has progressed from his comedy roots to become an actor, columnist, best-selling author, radio and television presenter, director, and (if anyone cares) The Sun's 'Shagger of the Year' three years in a row, for which the award has now been renamed after him.

Love him or hate him, you can't have missed him.
