Sean Lock is most recognised for his appearances on TV panel shows such as
They Think It's All Over, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and 8
Out Of 10 Cats of which he has been a team captain for since 2005.
In 2006, he hosted his own show on Channel 4 called
TV Heaven, Telly Hell and has written and starred in his own cult BBC sitcom
15 Storeys High as Vince the lifeguard.
His first big achievements came in 2000 when his Fringe show
No Flatley, I Am The Lord Of The Dance received a Perrier nomination and he won the British Comedy Award for 'Best Stand-Up'.
Lock's style of comedy is incredibly sharp and at times surreal; a typical set will see him he whip through observations on society, personal anecdotes, extended metaphors and topical gags without breaking a sweat. He may not be the most unique comedian out there but he knows what works and excels at it.
