Shazia Mirza

Shazia Mirza began to attract a lot of attention after 9/11 when she began performing in a full hijab and introducing herself to the crowd with the line 'Hi, I'm Shazia Mirza. At least that's what it says on my pilots licence'.

Sexy, funny and smart, Shazia does do a lot of material on politics and what it means to be an Asian lady in Britain, but she also takes on all manner of subjects from sex to history. Take this gem of a one liner for example:
