Simon Munnery
Simon Munnery, often branded as 'a comedian's comedian' due to his unique brand of alternative and surreal humour, is one of the most popular acts on the comedy circuit and now usually only appears at the best nights and festivals in the UK.
He is well known for his character creations of Billy Buckethead, the security guard, Alan Parker - Urban Warrior and The League Against Tedium. These performances usually appear silly but have clever monologues and one-liners.
He still occasionally appears as one of his characters but nowadays mostly performs stand-up, discussing subjects like politics and fatherhood. He also writes and performs poetry, sometimes accompanied by a harmonica.
