Stephen Merchant

At 6ft 7", Stephen Merchant is well-known for being one of the tallest comedians around. Or 'lanky, goggle-eyed freak' as Barry refers to him in Extras. But he is probably more famous for being the co-writer and director of the The Office and Extras, both of which have won stacks of prestigious awards from Emmys to Golden Globes and BAFTAs.

Recently Steve's returned to his stand-up roots and has been touring the UK with his first solo show Hello Ladies.
