The Sunday Defensive

The Sunday Defensive are a two man sketch team made up of Jacob Edwards and Phil Gilbert.  The pair have a slightly different approach to most groups as all their sketches are performed as themselves rather than in character and are usually based on arguments they have about anything from the game of Twister to the likelihood of having a bowling alley on a submarine. 

In 2006, they gained a fortnightly residency at the Canal Cafe Theatre and in early 2007 a sold out six-night run with The Penny Dreadfuls established their name on the UK sketch scene.
