Tom Deacon
Winner of the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year 2007 Award and a finalist in the Amused Moose New Act of 2007 competition, Tom Deacon has for a relative newcomer, already done pretty well.
His jokes (tampons, bikinis waxes, you get the idea) can be on the crude side but are delivered with just the right amount of charm to escape being labelled as tasteless. He is a confident and energetic performer, always winning the crowd over and though it can be classic student stuff, it's hard not to join in with his enthusiasm. One to watch.
