We Are Klang
Three-piece anarchic freak show We Are Klang made their name at the Edinburgh Festival when they were nominated for the if.comedy award in 2006. They are Greg Davies, Marek Larwood and Steve Hall.
Their fast-paced and puerile humour stems from their conflicting relationships, with Davies playing the ringleader/disciplinarian to his unruly cohorts, trying to prevent them from shocking the audience with their grotesque and coarse behaviour.
All three members have amazing physical comic ability, particularly Davies who towers above the rest at 6ft 8in and is often provoked by the other two for looking like a 'fat Rik Mayall' or an uglier version of 'Giles from Buffy'.
They crash, bumble and sweat through an unruly set that verges on sketch comedy, but usually disintegrates into farce as they each hurl insults at each other.
Oh, and there's normally some sick and twisted songs thrown in as well.
