Being classically trained as an actress at The Poor School, Zoe Lyons wasn't originally intended for comedy. After doing a 5 minute open spot at a new act night in 2003 Zoe realized she loved comedy and comedy loved her in return.
Winning the 2004 National Funny Women competition and being nominated for the if.comedy Best Newcomer award 2007, she gained quick recognition on the comedy circuit and can now be seen at some of the top UK comedy spots with her quick wit and observations. In London and Brighton she has regular compere spots at gay comedy nights Brou Ha Ha, in the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and Bent Double in the Komedia Club.
