Ali B

Ali B is a prominent member of London's leftfield scene. Over the last decade he has held down residencies at the capital's two most influential clubs. He spent his teens working at the Acid Jazz label and then as a DJ, made his mark as resident at the legendary Blue Note club. In the 90s Ali established Air in the basement at Blue Note – the first dedicated breakbeat party in London. Air went on to conquer east London at 93 feet, the festival scene and the global market – it is one of the biggest party brands in breaks. He now resides at Fabric where he has been from the day it opened. He also hosted a weekly radio show on Capital FM for five years, the UK's biggest commercial radio station. Ali's own artist productions, including his recent track with Jungle Brothers, and remixes for the likes of Positiva, Multiply, Sony and Cheeky, have taken him, and breaks, to an international audience.
