Ashley Beedle

The brains behind the Black Science Orchestra, Ashley Beedle is one of the most celebrated house producers the UK has produced.

Beginning in the early 80s, Beedle started out by playing reggae over Jamaican soundsystems, and by the middle of the decade he had moved on to soul, techno and jazz, as well as reworking old disco songs into early house tracks, which were quickly in the hands of US DJs like Frankie Knuckles and Master At Work.

Spending the 90's as an in demand remixer, today he focuses mainly on his DJ work and various solo projects.
