Belleruche
Belleruche are a slick and smooth trio from North London who are currently signed to Brighton based record label Tru Thoughts.
Their music is distinctively different, influenced heavily by vintage blues, 60's cover bands and turntablism, they describe their sound as 'Turntable Soul Music', but with a distinctive hip hop vibe. The mellifluous vocals of Kathrin deBoer exude an air of sophistication and maturity.
Their early independent releases before signing to Tru Thoughts sold out in record shops rapidly and gained them a cult following of listeners, making their debut album 'Turntable Soul Music' the fastest-selling debut record in the Label's history.
