Jungle producer whose hardcore productions in the early 90's contributed massively to the rave movement and made him a legend to many.
His music has a deep concentration on 'choppage' - a subsection of drum 'n' bass otherwise known as drumfunk which involves rearranging breaks in jazzy and complex ways. The emphasis is on production work and crate-digging the rarest breaks possible. Choppage is the antithesis of the over-the-top default, predictable build up and drop used by artists popular in mainstream drum 'n' bass right now - like Pendulum.
