Mex (aka Black Grass) has spent the past twenty years behind the turntables in clubs. Through his more recent series of mix CDs he has developed a reputation as one of the world’s leading (yet still most under-rated) DJ’s.

Influenced by the soundsystems of old (Wild Bunch, Good Times, Soul II Soul) and hip hop legends Jazzy Jeff and Cash Money, he’s admired as both a selector and a man of inimitable style by DJ’s as diverse as Andy Smith and Krafty Kuts.
