Blackbeard

Extremely unusual softrock / punk / raga hybrid Blackbeard produces sublimely melodic rolling Country and Western tunes overlaid with Santana-esque guitar licks and conscious Rasta lyrics. This stuff is downright unusual but there's no denying the musicianship and Blackbeard has a great voice in which he warbles a selection of madly odd rock ditties. Impossible to classify but thanks to myspace this rasta rocker has a huge worldwide fan base and his live shows even in the UK should be packed and exciting.
