Caspa

Occasionally derided by straight-lipped dubstep bores as a practitioner of mindless 'wobble', Caspa's music is in fact great fun and considerably more inventive than other, more derivative material designed to cause mayhem on the dancefloor – both of which facts mean he commands plenty of respect from fellow producers.

When he's not experimenting with wildly modulated basslines, the man known to his mum as Gary McCann runs the Dub Police, Storming Productions and Sub Soldiers labels. The latter is a collaboration with DJ partner Rusko, with whom he's recorded a landmark mix for the Fabriclive series.
