Channel One Sound System
Anyone who's attended Notting Hill Carnival over the last 25 years will no doubt have come across Channel One Sound System, comprised of selector Mikey Dread and MC Ras Keyleb.
COSS have played throughout the UK at events like Glastonbury and the University of Dub, where they regularly headline. Their sound has spread widely, and with it, their musical message: "We want to break down barriers via conscious roots and culture rastafari music".
For those who haven't experienced Channel One first hand, Mikey Dread spins a distinctive and uplifting conscious roots style - strictly from vinyl - and is supported by MC Ras Kayleb, who supplies deep chants and song.
