CJ Mackintosh

When house music first broke out of the underground, for the very first time, CJ Mackintosh was there. He was the producer of the UK and US smash hit number one Pump Up The Volume by MARRS which topped both charts in 1987. Since then CJ has gone on to apply his remixes to such artists as C&C Music Factory, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, De La Soul, Inner City, PiL, Coldcut and countless others. Nowadays CJ and best buddy Joey Negro are two of the most in-demand DJs on the planet and spend their time flying between parties delivering a mixtures of classic tracks from the history of a music they helped invent, and brand new releases they get early thanks to their superstar status. CJ might pop up anywhere in the world but he is reliably found at Milk 'N' 2 Sugars in summertime Ibiza and year round at The End.
