CTRL-Z

Absolutely cracking hard-edged breakbeat producers CTRL Z are a force to be reckoned with - their live sets are totally intense and we recommend seeing them if you get the chance. They will blast you.

The boys (Tom Petais and Nicky D'Silva) are prolific producers with over 30 releases under their belts and they won the Best Compilation Album and Breakspoll 2006. Everyone loves them and it's easy to see why - they take the best of breaks and drum n bass and create tunes that feel like falling - a total audio rush.

Spoonfed has seen a live PA by this lot on a cold, rainy afternoon. They transformed the crowd from a bunch of chatting, snivelling anoraks into a frenzied mass of popping bodies.

Very good indeed.
