DJ Hype

Hype is junglist royalty, with a DJ and production careeer that spans the entire era and includes headlining the legendary Shut Up And Dance soundsystem, founding the Ganga label in 1993, one of the first pure breaks labels, and pioneering the first jungle shows on pirate station Fantasy FM. When Kiss launched he was their jungle man from day one and he still has a weekly show.

Hype DJs all kinds of events from massive retrospectives to outdoor festivals and brand new liquid funk nights. As a producer, and a radio DJ, he has a duty not to stand still, and consistently seeks out and creates new sounds to drive the DnB scene forward. Not that he's above rinsing out a few classics...
