DJ Pete
A legend of the Berlin dub techno continuum, DJ Pete aka Peter Kuschnereit rose to ascendency in the mid 90s both as a DJ - known for his fierce techno sets at the then supreme Tresor club - and as a producer, operating under the Substance and Scion aliases.
Co-founder the much-revered Chain Reaction imprint (home to some of best techno and electronica of the previous decade), he's spent much of his time selling records over the counter at Berlin's imperious Hardwax store and remains an active player in the scene to this day, currently disseminating the dubstep sound to legions of eager Berliners.
