DJ Yoda
It is no exaggeration to say that DJ Yoda is the best hip hop DJ in the UK, and possibly the world. He does things that no other DJ can do. Not only is he a pioneer of scratch pasting and beat mixing, with a hugely eclectic taste that has opened the eyes of hip hop artists from London to LA. He is also a pioneer of AV mixing, using old movies to cut up with his favourite loops.
Yoda is a Hip Hop superstar and worth the price of admission wherever you can see him. Look out for AV movie-mixing sets, which push the boundaries of DJ performance further than any of his rivals.

He has now finished up his first artist album, ""The Amazing Adventures Of DJ Yoda"" out on Antidote. On this, Yoda provides beats for Biz Markie, 2005 MOBO-winner Sway, Princess Superstar, Jungle Brothers, MC Paul Barman, and a host of other vocalists. On top of all this Yoda is a prolific journalist and has edited hip hop sections in Mixmag and IDJ. However surely his greatest achievement in historical terms came in 2004 when credible US Hip Hop magazine Word voted a skit on ""How To Cut and Paste Vol. 1"" one of the Top 5 Skits Of All Time, alongside Wu Tang Clan and De La Soul. Those are the guys who made Yoda what he is today - a hip hop genius.
