London-based dub maestros The Dub Pistols have have been making music since 1996, ploughing the fields of dub, reggae and ska with a modern twist.
Inspired samples and guest vocalists including Terry Hall of the Specials make their records worth checking out, but they are first and foremost a live act, with their energetic performances continuing to draw crowds.
These guys are the perfect festival band; you wouldn't necessarily go out of your way to see them normally (unless you were a fan) but they provide a perfect soundtrack to chilling out in a field in summertime.
