Dusty Kid
Dusty Kid is an Italian producer who has been knocking out the tunes since the tender age of 19.
Paulo Alberto Lodde (as he's otherwise known) manipulates samplers, synths and sequencers to produce his lush brand of techno.
In 2004 he teamed up with DJ Andrea Ferlin to create the project Duoteque - many of their productions were hammered by Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin Ricardo Villalobos and other techno luminaries.
His solo productions as Dusty Kid veritably skip along the electronica highway, with sprinklings of melody and a hypnotic spacey element.
Bloody good. He plays in the UK only occasionally. Catch him if you can.
