Eddie Richards

Eddie Richards is a bit of a legend in the sphere of hard house and acid house. His 'Acidman' track of 1988 entered the top 20 and he went on to top the top 40 with remixes for Orbital and The Shaman. He is one of those guys who features in every book and documentary about the history of dance culture. He also plays almost every week at Fabric, the biggest club night in the land.

Unsurprisingly, when Eddie plays these days, he often gives in to the crowd and drops some classic, twisted acid house. However Eddie is still a producer and pioneer, and as such has a constant stream of new tracks ready to play, in particular the hard edged, techy stuff beloved of the nu rave electro scene. This is a guy whose whole life is about the party.
