Brighton based breaks duo, Evil Nine have stormed the scene simply by being very bloody good. Adam Freeland noticed that they should be signed and swiftly snaffled them up with his Marine Parade Imprint.
They primarily play breakbeat, but the 'Evil Nine' sound challenges the respected norms of what breaks usually entails by mixing it up with rock, electro, techno and whatever else they have lying around.
Their debut album 'You Can Be Special Too' was a sought after ebay item after only 1000 copies went to press due to financial complications at Marine Parade. It is now readily available. We suggest you check it out. In addition, Evil Nine have released 2 albums for the Y4K and Fabric mix series.
