Filthy Dukes

Genres: Electro
The Filthy Dukes, a dandy and a punk, an artist and a philistine a lover and a fighter. Brought together out of obscurity the pair have played together for 2 years. Duke one grew up on Elgar and The Stones whilst Duke two was without music until his teens when he discovered the dulcet tones of acid house and polish jazz. In a collision of science and music came the Filthy Dukes who have since struck fear and ecstasy into the hearts and minds of those who have witnessed them. Their home Kill Em All Let God Sort It Out is a dirty little night of New Wave, Electro, Punk Funk for New Romantic Souls & Rock 'n' Roll Hearts. Every 4th Saturday a month at the Barfly Camden and at Fabric Live the Kill Em All room is every other month in Room 2. In order to understand what the Filthy Dukes are about it is best to look at their club. Kill Em All is a resplendently raucous affair and has gained a huge following of like minded creative people who like a bit of kick drum to their guitars and obscure variation in a club night. Bands, djs, costumes, animals(well maybe), performance, music providers, fiddle players, crumpet makers, anon anon. A punk sensibility with a need to dance and create disordered fun is the approximate ethos to this club, it is difficult to say much more.
