Gaiser
Gaiser, a.k.a. Jon Gaiser, is an acclaimed producer signed onto Richie Hawtin's Berlin-based label, M_nus. The American regularly deejays with the M_nus family at their showcases but also does gigs independently (here in London he has played such parties as Fabric's WetYourSelf).
His sound is on the minimalist end of minimal techno, as evidenced in 2008's full-length album 'Blank Fade'. Here it is all about subtleties in sound, and everything - the build-ups, the beat, the bass - is understated. The result is repetitive to the undiscerning ear, but becomes hauntingly marvelous after enough listens.
He has also recorded for M_nus and Resopal as 'Fraktion'.
