Ghosts on Tape

Californian party smasher Ghosts on Tape is a big fan of old skool recording equipment and plays a mish mash of every kind of dirty warehouse music going or 'tropical bass' as it's known to meta genre experts.

Using only a pair of ancient samplers with music stored on floppy disks, San Franciscan bass monkey Ryan Merry fuses together a raw mix of electro, grime, dancehall and reggaeton in his tracks. Mary Anne Hobbs recently got him to make an exclusive mix on her BBC radio show, and his debut Predator Mode EP was released on Glasgow's Wireblock label on October 12th 2009.
