Handbags at the ready! Riton and Ben Fat Trucker are Gucci Soundsystem. They make glitchy, bombastic electronica with plenty of spectrum 64 sound effects, heavy basslines and theremin noodle. They also DJ and play live AV sets all over the world, and tread the line between utter brilliance and excessive weirdness with aplomb. Occasionally going too far and making the crowd think there’s been some kind of police raid and power cut is all part of the fun.

The boys are much in demand as remixers and probably their best work so far in that field is a version of Tiefschwarz’s Wait and See - they also get asked to play around the world. DJ sets tend to stick to the techno side of things, and are a little more mainstream than their live AV shows when they really cut loose.
