High Contrast

Welsh drum n bass producer Lincoln Barrett was signed to Hospital records in 200 on the strength of a mini disc sent through the post. he has since gone on to become one of the hottest properties in the breaks scene, producing versions for everyone from Fabio to the White Stripes.

Since his debut album 'True Colours' came out in 2002 High Contrast has rightly been regarded as one of the guiding lights of new breaks. 2004's 'High Society' foreshadowed dubstep and 2007's 'Tough Guys Don't Dance' is altogether more ambient and eclectic, with harps, hip hop, and glitch samples.

An awesome producer and DJ whose sets are unmissable highlights wherever he shows up.
