Jacques Renault

Jacques Renault, despite what his francophone name suggests, is a Washington-born, New York DJ signed to DFA records. Having flirted with drum n bass and house in Chicago, Renault found his roots in disco music, and from there they have flowered.

He has played everywhere from Gugenheim’s Art After Dark club, to Berlin’s Rio Club.

His remix of Midnight Magic's 'Beam Me Up' catapulted the tune to almost anthemic status, and has made him one of the most in-demand disco DJ's around.
