James Manero
A London-born DJ from a Cuban English background, James Manero cut his teeth in the thriving east end minimal scene and started organising raves at underground party venue Public Life.
Battery Box quickly established itself as a quality minimal night with guests such as Miss Jools, Argy, Jamie Jones and Confetti Bomb.
He also set up west end electro night Warme at Sketch with partner in crime, J Saintil. Credited with bringing electro to the wet, Warme was, and still is, a blinding night.
James is currently head of marketing and programming at the refurbished Bar Rumba.
