John Selway
Classically trained pianist and violinist John Selway began his musical training aged 4 in NYC.
He encountered a Moog Modular Synthesizer some years later and became hooked on creating electronic compositions. His first success in the techno world was as one half of Disintegrator, and later as Smith and Selway.
He is responsible for some of the most stylistically wide ranging works in electronic music today - from his work on his own deep techno label CSM - to the electro-funk on Synapse and Serotonin Records.
As a DJ, his sets tend towards two styles; tech-house, and futuristic grooving techno and energetic disco, italo and electro.
