One half of seminal DJ and production duo Coldcut, Jonathon More and Matt Black started seminal British alternative hip hop and abstract electronica label Ninja Tune.

One of the key aspects of Ninja Tune ethos sees followers and fans as 'agents', extending the ethic of play as a subversive act and a means of replaying and manipulating media under the radar of mainstream culture. Ninja Tune uses a corporate facade to communicate via the marketplace itself.
