Justin Martin

From wannabe bedroom producer to iconic superstar DJ and sought after pop collaborator: Justin Martin has made the journey in about 5 years. He lives in San Francisco and knows how to rock a party.

It was only 2003 when Justin was picked up by Ben Watt's label who released his now 'classic' cut, The Sad Piano. Everyone from Pete Tong to Steve Bug played the track and Justin Martin's career as a producer was kick started.

Ironically, he turned to fellow producer Claude VonStroke to assist him with the DJing side of things - VonStroke having made a film about the craft called 'Intellect'. Between him, his brother Christian and Claude Vonstroke, the Dirtybird imprint was born.

Since then the man has travelled a million times and dropped the needle on ten thousand records, assembling an arsenal of astonishing original productions and infamous remixes.

His work with brother Christian as The Martin Brothers is also well-loved and incredibly well-produced. In short, he's awesome.
