Kevin Saunderson

Kevin is one of the founding fathers of techno, a sound he invented with high school classmates Derrick May and Juan Atkins. At the time, they called it 'conceptual disco' which is a bit of a giggle - but they were ambitious for the sound which fused hard electronica and beats with the rolling lines of house music. And they were right.

Kevin remains a pioneer and ambassador for techno. He rarely plays the UK and when he does it tends to be at showcase events - expect a musical journey spanning the very first techy electro tracks, right up to the current stable of Detroit producers still pushing minimal and hard techno to the masses.
