Kid Blue
Kid Blue is Rory Natkiel - a London-based DJ and producer who is responsible for the massive Technique nights in Leeds.
His debut single 'Nothing To Lose' on Lot 49 was caned by everyone from James Zabiela to Hybrid and Elite Force. 'Hairy Sambuca' followed on Fat! Records - a record that was made Moneyshot single of the month in DJ Mag.
He's resident at Paul Arnold's mighty breaks label Chew The Fat!, and was resident at We Love...in Space, Ibiza during the summer of 2008.
His sound is considered - fusing elements of techno, house, electro and breaks and pioneering the trademark Lot 49 tech-funk.
Both labels are pushing the breaks sound forward as it diversifies - and is blended with other genres. Most of the good breaks producers play for these labels it's here that you'll hear the new developments in the genre.
