Now sadly no more, Leftfield were a hugely innovative and influential duo who's many dub rich house productions have remained evergreen and encouraged subsequent artists to further blend the two styles.
Standout tracks remain the sublime 'Melt', 'Release The Pressure' and the haunting 'A Final Hit' memorably used for Danny Boyle's seminal 'Trainspotting' in 1995.
Their later work was darker and techno heavy, a fine example being the instantly recognisible 'Phat Planet' - most famously used in the Guinness advert 'Surfer' in 1999.
